BUFFERING
Though our services have well over a 99% success rate nothing is perfect.
Here's solutions to problems if you encounter any.
To understand buffering, you must first understand that an IPTV stream isn't sent directly to a device as is. Instead, the IPTV servers issue data "packets."
These packets are why you can keep streaming for a few seconds after loosing your internet connection.
If there's a delay in sending, receiving, or processing those data packets, it causes your device to pause while it waits for more packets.
This process is called buffering.
Turn Off Devices
Having too many devices connected to your network slows the network down, leading to longer loading times. The more computers, games consoles, internet radios, phones, and tablets you have on your network the slower it is.
These devices take a piece of the internet processing speed for themselves. The first step to fixing a buffering stream is to disconnect unnecessary devices.
Reboot Your Router and IPTV Device
Restarting your router and IPTV device is the next step. You'd be surprised how many issues rebooting your devices fix.
Sometimes the connection between the devices becomes unsynchronized, so you have to reboot them to restart a clean connection. Simply unplug your device for 1 minute, then plug back in.
Switch to Wired Internet
Most people connect to the internet through a "Wireless Internet System Provider." A wireless connection is great if you can't get a standard cable of 5G service.
However, these systems also suffer from connection and speed issues, particularly in peak hours.
They also slow down during the summer when more people are at home connected to the internet. Switching to a wired ethernet connection offers a more stable connection with a much less chance for any data loss.
Understand Minimum Internet Speeds for IPTV
Streaming IPTV takes a stable and decent internet connection. Here are the recommended minimum internet speeds going through your device.
This is another problem that you can't do much about. Your internet speed is determined by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and there's not much you can do to make it faster.
You can pay more for a faster internet or switch providers, and that's about it.
Increase Buffering On Devices
Some IPTV devices let users increase the buffer size. This means that your device downloads more data. You'll have more room to play with when waiting for more data.
Check the system settings for your box to see if you can change the buffering settings. If you can't see the setting, try searching online for instructions on how to do so.
Switch To SD Channels (Low Bandwidth)
It takes more effort to stream HD content compared to SD content. If you have a slow internet connection and run into lots of buffering you should switch to SD or Low Bandwidth channels.
SD channels use less data, meaning that they run smoother than HD channels.
Speed Tests
We recommend you run an online speed test to verify your internet connection speeds. You can see if your ISP is throttling your connection or not.
However, some people believe an ISP can tell if you are running a speed test and lift the throttling on your account to give you a false connection speed.
Connect to the Router
Establishing a wired connection to your router leads to faster and more stable internet compared to a wireless connection.
If your router is too far away from your computer, consider using a "powerline" plug (Booster) to transmit your connection through electrical lines.
Make sure you are on the correct network
Devices will often fall into the 2.4G Network. Also, a lot of ISP's will set you on that network by default when they install the service or come out for service repairs.
You want to be connected to the 5G network if at all possible. After all, there is a reason why all the cell phone services switched to it.
Use a VPN
Internet Service Providers will slow your speed down and mess with your viewing experience especially during highly watched events such as
PP and sporting events. They will also record your IP address and monitor your behavior. A VPN will protect your privacy and eliminate any throttling your ISP may be doing. We offer a premium VPN for our members free of charge.
Common questions and knowledge about our main application.
While on the guide highlight the channel you want to save and long press on the enter button.
You'll get a pop-up with a few choices. Add/Remove to favorites will be one of them.
On the home screen of the application press on the magnifying glass icon enough times to bring up a keyboard. This is a universal search and will search through all content. After you've entered what you are searching for make sure you select whether you are looking for Live TV, Movie, or Series.
Like all search engines sometimes the less you put in the better. le. If you're looking for the movie Goodfella's you're better off just typing in good.
If your guide is missing, showing incorrect information on a number of channels, or sports schedule isn't right you can usually easily correct this.
Simply go to settings of the application and press on "Refresh" If you are using the EZ Player press on "Update.”
This can happen from time to time because of how often we change the format and codex of them. It's an extremely important part of our security protocols.
Please make sure you press on "Refresh" in settings. If you are using the EZ Player press on "Update.“
If this happens it is most like a network issue.
Please make sure your device is connected to the internet and that it is on the 5G network if possible.
Updates are very important for the playback and functionality of the application. Often they will have much needed bug fixes to install.
If you get a message saying a new version of the app is available and asks if you want to install it, please do so.
You can always find the latest versions of our apps on our Downloads page. Enter code 423255 into Downloader to get there.
If close captions are available you can access them by pressing on the enter button while on full screen mode, and then pressing on the "newspaper" icon.
On the EZ Player, If you need them on LIVE TV you will need to make sure you switch your LIVE TV Player in settings to "Build-in VLC player." Do this through in settings to and selecting "Player." Though this is not ideal player for LIVE TV it has much better options for close captions.
Common questions and knowledge about our main application.
Go to settings and then to "My Fire TV". From there press on "About" and then scroll down to "Check for updates" and install any that might need doing. We suggest pressing on it after it says its been updated too. They often put the updates back-to-back. Lastly, make sure you restart your device. You should restart your Fire device any time there is an update.
Under settings and "My Fire TV" you'll see the option to restart. Press on that.
Unfortunately that will bring your device to it's original settings as if it were brand new. This means you'll have to reinstall our application(s).
Head to "Your Apps & Channels" and highlight our application. Then press the hamburger menu button (the button with the three lines on it on your remote. It will then give you an option to move or move to front. Once you have it in the desired place just tap on the enter button to lock it in place.
If you press move to front it will a assign it to your very first spot on your home screen row.
Yes, absolutely. To do this go to settings and press on "Applications." Then scroll down to "Manage Installed Apps" and select it. After that force stop and clear the cache on each application you have on your device by selecting them individually.
You'll want to do this once a week or at minimum once every other week depending on your usage.
If you clear the data from an application you will need to enter in your credentials again or send in your playlist code(s) depending on the app you cleared.
Unfortunately, there's no way to restore it.
While on the home screen move to where you see
"Find" and press on it. You'll see the ability to search there.
It means your internet is not connected to the device anymore. Please check your router/modem and see if you still have internet.
If you still have internet but your device is still unable to connect you may need to unplug it for a couple minutes. Then see if it establishes connection once back on.
Things we strongly suggest doing.
For On-Demand you most likely will want to use the VLC player as it supports more codex than any other player. It also, is known to have better subtitle capabilities.
In our main application it has a "Build-in VLC Player." We suggest setting that for your player under movies and series in the settings. We also suggest setting the network caching to medium.
For LIVE TV we suggest using the EXO player. In our main application our default player is the EXO player.
In settings go to LIVE TV and make sure the network caching is set to medium and the player is set to "Build-in Player."
All though our application allows for saving movies and series we do not recommend saving them.
Due to security reasons we constantly change the formatting and codex of our on-demand content.
This means if you save them to your favorites they may change or disappear from your list.
As far as LIVE TV, you can save as many of those as you wish and encourage you to do so.
99% of our members use Amazon FireSticks or another Fire device. Unfortunately, they aren't loaded with a whole bunch of free storage space.
To make matters worse, they come loaded with applications you may not use but can't uninstall.
Because of this we strongly recommend keeping them "clean." You do this by force stopping and clearing the cache on all your installed apps including ours.
We suggest doing this once a week.
We recommend removing any applications you can from your device that you aren't using. Uninstalling whatever isn't being used will free up valuable space and will increase performance.
Likewise, we suggest to not overload your device with unnecessary applications either.
